Ok, well, it’s not as though anyone actually needs a reason to visit Paris. The fact that I had two amazing reasons, only meant that I really had no excuse NOT be in Paris. So the first reason was that my darling best friend from NYC, the utterly stylish and totally sophisticated Ilya, was there for the Labour Day weekend. And the second was that BOTH my Parisian cousins got married last year and it was an opportunity to crack the bubbly. Which of course, we did!

So Paris disappeared in a whirl of glamour, style and indulgence. Enclosed in a bubble of phenomenal, special, wonderful company we explored, discovered, adventured, feasted and returned exhausted but radiant to our sublime hotel feeling like… well… this is how life should really be lived!
